Ancient Inscription Academy

The Academy of Ancient Inscriptions offers an experience where we will explore the secrets of rock carving and the inscriptions that remain to this day in AlUla. Discover the stories of those who passed through and lived here, based on what they etched into the rocks and the remnants they left behind over time.

Archaeology Alive

Dadan, the home of the Lion Tombs, was the capital of two ancient Arab kingdoms (Dadan and Lihyan). Today, it serves as the primary hub for archaeological discoveries that unveil the lives of our early ancestors. Join our narrator on a journey through time as they reveal the secrets and wonders of this remarkable site. With the guidance provided and the necessary equipment, uncover your hidden talent as an archaeologist through a unique archaeological excavation experience.

Hegra Mystery

A valuable educational tool for students, this programme features engaging activities and interactive prompts during their visit. It includes both group and individual tasks to enhance collaboration and critical thinking. Students will discuss ideas, take notes, and participate in site-related challenges, deepening their understanding of cultural and historical significance. Facilitated by the narrator, this approach promotes active learning and develops skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. By the end of the visit, participants will gain insights that connect them to the region’s rich heritage.

Future Ancient Arena

The historic AlUla Old Town amphitheatre sets the stage for an interactive and engaging experience for families and children through creative, fun, and hands-on activities that relate to artefacts and sculptures from the past. Children can enjoy designing and assembling their own mask in the ‘Face Makers’ activity, and create their own puppet in the ‘Pop Up Puppets’ area.
